Six and a half

You’re six and a half and I want to stop the clock. I can’t imagine it getting any better than it is right now.

You were unwell here so I made special hot chocolates with ‘squirty cream’ and haribo, the haribo melted and we had to scoop it from the bottom of the mugs with a spoon.

This is you before the party on the bus. You’d just been to ‘Mum’s salon’ for your facial.

I checked in on you and found you cuddling every single teddy on the bed!

Daddy sent me this one, I think you were trying to see how many marshmallows you could fit into your mouth!

You and your crazy big lips.

Doing our rock pose in 3D glasses, right before we went to see Katy Perry in 3D.

  1. Great minds think alike and all that – I’ve got a four year old poorly son on the sofa next to me, whimpering in a half awake, half asleep state. And all he wants are mumum cuddles. It reminds me of him being small. But then surely he’s still small? Although he’s so tiny for his age, I think of him as being a big bear, just like his big brother. And the latter is only five and a half.

Where is the time going? Why is it going so fast?

  2. Erica says:

It used to feel like it was going slow, not anymore! arrrrgh.

  3. They grow up too fast … but then again, thats what you want when you are 6 isnt it? Its just us that wants time to slow down!
