I’ve been pretty lucky recently with my Freebies, this rucksack choc full of Robinsons Fruit Shoots, Waters and Juices arrived a few weeks back. There were actually quite a few more bottles than that, but we were just too desperate to get tasting

Did you know the Fruit Shoot brand was only introduced in 2000? It feels longer than that, it’s pretty well established as the kids drink of choice (if Coke is off the menu!). Erin has enjoyed the blackcurrant and orange flavours in the past so I knew she’d enjoy trying the other flavours. The flavoured waters went down surprisingly well, I gave her the choice between a fruit shoot or the water and she chose water both times. As for the fruit shoots she enjoyed the familiar varieties but the Apple went down the best, I tried it too, reminded me of Apple flavoued Hubba Bubba mmmm.

I ended up having the orange juice and my husband had the apple juice one day when we ran out of juice. The orange juice was really good and not too acidic.

The drinks were great but the rucksack caused some excited squeeling and has already been utilised on a few trips
