The Toy Fair in London. I met up with my old pal Laura to check out the latest toys and what we can expect in 2012. We had a good look at what was new at playmobil in 2012 before checking out some of the other exhibitors.

Last week I was invited to the annual Toy Fair in London to check out what was new at Playmobil.
There were loads of toy buyers and exhibitors and a great buzz about the place. Playmobil had a large enslosure upstairs with all the upcoming products for 2012 on display.
Here are my highlights;

Future Planet
Designed for older kids – 7-12yrs – I could quite happily sit and play future planet myself. It’s based on a war of sorts between the ‘E-Rangers’ and the ‘Darksters’ set in the year 2113. …

It’s competition time! I have ten packets each of girls and boys playmobil figurines to give away, so I’ll draw one boy winner and one girl winner who will each win five packets of playmobil figurines each!

We’ve enjoyed lots of Playmobil goodies this summer in our role as playologists. First off we received two new playmobil sets, the playmobil fairy garden and playmobil apple harvest. Both sets are amazingly detailed and well worth the effort to build.
A few weeks later we were treated to our very own playmobil family. Check us out.. ‘Real’ Erin has brown hair but we’re not ones to quibble over minor details. We laughed A LOT over Alex’ sunglasses which sadly are very accurate. Oh dear.

I was very pleased when this arrived during half term. It’s a brand new toy from Playmobil – The Grande Mansion.

This is one heck of a dolls house built over three floors. The main set is the structure of the house and all the ‘rooms’ come in seperate packages. It took ages to build as each piece of furniture has several bits to it. Usually this sort of thing would hack me off but in this case I felt it was worth it as the end …
