This has to be one of my favourite giveaways as what I’m giving away should appeal to you all. I have one Wiki Digital Camera to giveaway courtesy of IWOOT. If you didn’t hear all about the wiki digital camera read about it now – Wiki Digital Camera Review

The Wiki would make an ideal gift for a teenager, or if you’re a blogger keep it for yourself to capture short videos for your blog.

The Rules

1. All (UK residents) newsletter subscribers receive one entry, as does anyone on the mum blogger e-course. If you sign for either or both before the competition end date then your entries will be counted.

2. Comments will receive one entry, as will retweets on twitter.

Simples, yeah…

This competition is only open to UK residents.

The draw will take place on Thursday 10th December 2009.

Once an entry has been chosen by random number generator I will email the winner and they’ll have 48 hours to respond with an address to which the camera can be sent.

Good Luck!

PS Sign up for the mum blogger e-course here (one entry) and the newsletter here (one entry)

Aveeno Review & Giveaway

By Little Mummy, April 20, 2009 1:08 am

dscf1573-1

Time for some primping and preening in preparation for my big trip (you know, the one I might have mentioned once or twice!)

I received these Aveeno goodies ages ago so it was good to finally have an excuse to try them out. First up the colloidal oatmeal bath, every time I mention colloidal I think it sounds like a nasty hospital treatment. I have to say the reality of the bath wasn’t much better. See video :(

I think it’s only fair to take the good with the bad so I hopped in and the, um, scum went away a bit, which was nice. The smell did subside a bit too, it started out like a hops smell, my husband thought I had started my own home brew in the bath. The result was pretty good though and my skin felt nicer afterwards, not sure it was enough for me to try it again though. I bet my bath needs a good clean now.

The moisturising cream was much better though, the consistency was quite thick to look at but when I started smoothing it over my skin it was absorbed really easily, leaving no residue or that familiar wet feeling.

I’m not sure where the cream was meant to go but seeing as I’d just done a facial scrub (I’m really ramping up my efforts in a bid to look half way decent while I’m away) I decided to put it on my face. All the products are fragance free and their selling point seems to be their ‘naturalness’.

Now to the good part, I have five of the sets you see above to giveaway. All you need to do if you’d like to be in with a chance of winning one is sign up for my newsletter. You’ll automatically be entered into this AND all future giveaways (no catch, just enjoy!)

BONUS

For an extra entry, leave a comment on this post (only newsletter subscribers will be given the extra entry).

Competition closes on Sunday 26th April

Update: Open to UK residents only
