I love cooking and eating in Autumn. In Scotland it’s cold in Autumn but not freezing, ideal weather for warming soups, rich stews and hearty pasta dishes. Monday: French Onion Soup and Cheese Toasts
I use a Jamie Oliver Recipe as the basis for my soup, although I adjust it to suit the ingredients I have available. This time I used a couple white onions, one red onion

Wednesday: Chicken & Bacon Salad
I used some gem lettuce, cucumber, griddled chicken, crispy bacon and honey mustard dressing. Serve with crusty bread.
