Easy Spanish Translation Site

With the economy the way it is us Brits might end up reverting back to our old ways and holidaying on the costa del sol, and if we do this spanish translation site will come in handy.
I went on a blogger trip to Port Aventura in Spain last year and during a nice tapas meal one of my fellow bloggers tried to order in Spanish for us, I nearly wet myself when she ordered “Dos bread por favor”. She’ll never live that one down. So …

Nokia’s Own Voice App

Guest review from BigDaddy
It?s always nice to know where you are going on a journey in the car. Sometimes however, wrong turns are taken, tempers fray, men refuse to ask for directions, women always know the right turning but only after you?ve driven past it and the kids just want to know ?are we there yet?.
Thankfully Nokia has come up with a great solution by making Ovi maps sat-nav free with all their Smartphones. This is a very useful feature and takes away the need to shell out …

Toy Reviews: Leapster 2, Disgusting Science, Littlest Petshop Vehicle

We’ve been inundated with toys to test in our role as toyologist so we’ve enrolled some guest reviewers to help us out. Here are our first guest reviews from KerryAnne and her children Scott (12) and Rhianne (5).

The Littlest Petshop Pet Vehicle (?16.99)
A very pretty toy that also has the goods to back up the packaging. My daughter loved this toy, any budding little animal lover will. She’s now asking for more littlest petshop pets. All in all a great fun toy that will keep your …

100 Things: 25. Try Snowmobiling

If you’ve been following my blog for a while you’ll know that I have a list of 100 things to do before I die.
During my recent trip to Lapland I had the opportunity to tick off another one from my list – 25. Try Snowmobiling.
On the wednesday we headed deep into the forest in search of santa, but before we did that we went on a snowmobile safari along a winding track that took us through some narnia-esque scenery. I was pretty nervous after reading and signing my …

20. Attend a Food Festival

On Saturday I completed one of my 100 things, 20. Attend a Food Festival. I went to the BBC Good Food Show.
We booked a night in the hotel next door and had a fab time. We saw Gordon Ramsay cooking a three course meal, Fred McAulay off the radio, Olly Smith the wine guy and Brian Taylor the BBC political correspondent. Lots of the show celebs were staying in the hotel and we ended up sharing a panoramic lift with Gregg Wallace and bumping into Masterchef winner …

Fairy Clean and Care: Hands that do dishes…

We’ve been trialling the new range from Fairy who’ve got together with Olay to create a washing up liquid that’s as kind to your hands as soap.
Now I’m a sceptic when it comes to new products like this, and even more so since I started my marketing degree. I think it’s all just a ploy to get us to spend more money on what should be a basic product, and of course it is, but I’ve been a bit won over by this one.
We tried two ‘flavours’ of …
