I love tax credits, who doesn’t love free money! The renewal pack is always a bit off putting but it’s worth it when you get your payment every four weeks. I’ve just completed mine, I always try and underestimate our earnings after getting caught out a few years back, I didn’t have to pay back in a lump sum but it seriously decimated my payments the following year.

Five Things I’m Going To Spend Our Tax Credits On

1. BBQ Food

The door’s open and a bbq smell is wafting in, I feel like Homer Simpson. Mmmmmm barbecue. Oh, oh and marshmallows for the bbq too, or flumps, yeah flumps they’re the best.

2. US Dollars

More specifically dollars for daquiri’s, my trip to Florida is nearly here (again). My tax credits may bolster my daquiri fund, and erm, my souvenir fund too, obviously.

3. New Laptop

I’ll spend a wee bit of my tax credits on my new laptop and some new software I’ve been harping on about. What? You’ve got to speculate to accumulate.

4. Clothes for Erin

I nearly always buy Erin’s clothes from the tax credits. I bought her the coolest hat from Next the other day. Why do four year olds look uber cool in whatever you put on them?!

5. Days Out

Summer’s coming so I’ll definitely be using some tax credit funds on entertainment.
