Mother at Large asked me the other day if I had written about bubbles yet, and I was surprised to find, after browsing the archives that I haven’t…
Bubbles are a great quick activity for babies through to about eight or nine. Babies are fascinated by the bubbles they’ll stare at them gliding through the [...]

I received an email recently with a tip on finger painting, which I thought I’d share
Kids can do finger painting using pudding. You just make up a batch of vanilla and separate it out into bowls adding whatever food color you choose. Then let them go to work. The little ones will always be sticking [...]

Today was a busy day, first I started a new work at home job, then this afternoon I helped a friend with her wedding invitations.

I used Erin’s sterilizer tub, filled it with water and a variety of toys; a spoon, paintbrush, ball, tub etc….
Remember to use a waterproof sheet…..

Halloween Sweet Treats
Chocolate Fondue
Make Edible Kiddie Gunge

This is an easy activity, simply draw a sheep then glue on some cotton wool. Erin enjoyed feeling the wool until like most other things these days, it had to be ‘confiscated’ due to breakage of house rule #342 no cotton wool or other wool substances should be ingested under any circumstances.
