Littlemummy.com is a blog about parenting and teaching. It is written by me, Erica Douglas. It is intended to be an archive of ideas, inspiration and discussion, readers can add their viewpoint via the comments button. In simple terms it’s a bit like reality tv in website form, real people, real lives, real problems and real answers.

Why Littlemummy?

I named the site littlemummy simply because I am quite short (about 5ft 1inch), I wish it were more exciting than that, but I’m afraid it’s not.

Who is Littlemummy?

My ‘real’ name is Erica Douglas. I live just outside Edinburgh, Scotland with my daughter Erin, and my husband Alex.

Why should I read Littlemummy.com?

You’ll get lots of free ideas and inspiration and you can share your own ideas and wisdom with other mums. You’ll probably make some virtual friends and you’ll always have people to ask when it goes wrong and a place to brag when it goes right.

   I laughed when I read why you named your site littlemummy. I am 5′3″ but I feel much taller and have a big personality with the result most people think I am about 5′7″ and I do not wear high heels for fear of falling over…
