Three Places in Edinburgh For Whisky, Music and Culture

EdinburghI love Edinburgh, for me it’s on a par with Boston as one of the best cities in the world. There’s no end of things to do and places to see. Here are a few that you may not have considered before;

The Museum of Childhood

The museum of childhood is a hidden treasure on the Royal Mile. Go back in time and see toys from your own childhood and before. My daughter loves exploring the toys which are spread over multiple floors. What’s more it is free, although donations are welcome.

The Usher Hall

The Usher Hall is Edinburgh’s venue of choice for visiting national and international orchestras. Check out their website for what’s coming up.

The Scotch Whisky Experience

I popped in to have a look around the shop, lots of goodies for both whisky drinkers and foodies here. I noticed there were various packages for tours and tasting and the restaurant looked like it was worth a visit too.
