Erin’s First Ski Lesson

I’ve always wanted Erin to learn to ski, mostly because I really fancy a family ski-ing holiday! After visiting Xscape to see Santa we decided that we really fancied giving SnowFactor a go. I’ve never skied on real snow before so it would be a new experience for me too!

Snowfactor has recently had a £1m makeover. There’s a nursery slope and a main slope all covered in real snow. They also have a sledging area and are in the process of building an ice climbing wall. We had a private lesson (£99) with a fantastic instructor, Craig. He was really patient and very good with Erin.

Erin achieved level one during the lesson – just three more levels to go and she is classed as proficient to ski without instruction. Lessons for children are £25 per lesson or £109 if you book a block of five.

Here’s a wee video;

Thanks to Snowfactor for a great experience, we’re definitely going to build upon this and get our ski-ing holiday booked.
