We’ve been in our new house for 5 weeks now and while we still have to paint the stairs and hang some pictures we’re settling in nicely.
My friend Laura and her husband recently started a new business selling unique gifts. As a housewarming gift they sent me this print, I love it. It hasn’t been hung yet, partly because I’m nervous about letting the husband loose with a drill in my new house! When I finally pluck up the courage I think it will go in my office to remind me to get the balance right between work and family time. The new house has had a great impact on family life, we’re spending more quality time together. Having the office means I also have somewhere peaceful to work where I don’t get ratty with everyone, there’s only so long you can work at a kitchen table!
