Finding ways to spend time with your partner can be difficult, especially if you have a young family, a business or job. But it is important to find time in our hectic schedules to spend quality time with our other halves.
A great idea of finding a way to spend time together is to schedule in regular date nights. This is a trend that I am seeing mentioned more and more where couples plan a night once a week to either go out for a meal, to the cinema or another activity that means you spend quality one to one time together.
Another great idea whilst the weather is fine is going for a picnic. Find somewhere local to you that is an ideal location to set down a blanket, and eat al fresco. To make it extra special why not stock up on some fine foods and include a bottle of Prosecco to toast your relationship and sit and unwind and enjoy talking to each other without any interruptions.
Try something new each week, may be there has always been something you have wanted to try but never had the chance and share it together. If you are struggling to find a baby sitter, get the kids to bed early, order a takeaway, set the table and have a romantic meal at home. As long as you are spending time together talking and listening, it really doesn’t matter where you spend it.
So do you do date night?
