Good news, the house had sold! Bad news, that means no holiday abroad for us this year. No panic though, we’ve lined up a few nice weekends for ourselves. The first of which was to Bexhill to stay with Antonia and the rest of the clan.
Erin and I were up at 4am for a dawn flight. After an early breakfast on the plane Erin realised her dream of having a train picnic. An hour or so and we arrived in Bexhill and headed down toward the sea. Erin decided that she was going to ‘stay forever’ before we’d even arrived. I’m hoping it says more about the pull of the sea than my efforts as a parent!
We kicked off a busy few days with baking.
We scoured the beach for shells to bring home.
We watched the sailing boats.
We visited the De La Warr Pavillion and sas the Italian Job bus teetering on the edge of the roof.
We got messy in the sea!
