that names their laptops?
I figure if you can name a car then you can definitely name a laptop. I’ve just bought a new laptop for work. I used to get excited about buying trainers but a new laptop definitely gives me the same buzz nowadays. The newest addition to my family, ahem..is Josh. Josh is a Dell XPS 15 with 4GB of memory, 2GB graphic card and an i5 processor. He’s young, sleek and very very fast.
Other members of the family include ‘Sam’ – my samsung netbook, great for travelling btw. ‘Scarlet’ is my red and white packard bell that buckled under the weight of video editing and has now assumed the role of all purpose family laptop in her retirement.
My husband thinks I have gone mental (he is probably right), I’ve never named a car btw.
Do you have names for inanimate objects?
*whispers* I’ve named all of my cars (there have been a few!) and computers/laptops! My latest laptop is pink (I won it… but it *is* rather splendid in pink) and called Petal!
I’ve just named my car Suzy!
Great choice of names, My first dog was called Sam, my second dog was called Josh and I um’ed and ahhh’ed about the name Scarlett for Bex but my laptop is called Toshiba
