My Weekend in Pictures
Carol and I at Giraffe. I was drinking what I believed to be a Mango and Lime Daquiri, turns out it was a non alcholic mango and lime daquiri! I have my suspicions that Antonia may have had a word in the barman’s ear when she heard what a lightweight I was
Antonia and I at Giraffe. I’m sporting the ‘sun kissed’ look and am definitely not flushed with alcohol (see above)
Me taking Carol by surprise jumping on her on the London Eye.
Antonia and I on the London Eye, marking off another of my 100 Things
Speaking on the Make Money Online panel at Cybermummy
A photo with friends before leaving Cybermummy
We found an uber cool tapas bar
I reverted back to my waitressing days, or maybe I was still in ‘Business Erica’ mode. It wasn’t to last much longer..
The drinks started flowing. This is a strawberry and coconut daquiri, there were lots of other flavours too…
The drinks flowed a bit more, ahem.
The drinks flowed a bit too much. This was taken at around 9.45pm.
I sobered up, took a shower and tucked up in bed and then my phone rang. It was Tara , she demanded that I go down to the bar. I said no as I was in my pj’s in bed. She gave me the guilt trip and demanded I go down to the bar immediately. The first rule of being friends with Tara is, do what Tara says…the second rule….always do what Tara says.
So I ended up in the Travelodge bar in my tartan pyjamas. Tara kindly bought me a drink. I have to be discreet here (this is a family show) but let’s just say that a gaggle of drunk mummy bloggers weilding rubber phallic instruments don’t mix. Tia Maria was spilled, tears were shed…the tartan jammies got wet and @fenngirl muttered something about “wobbling it too hard”. So the night ended up with us all..
Drunk and hysterical in the Travelodge lift. As you can see @fenngirl and I had bonded after what has become known as ‘The Incident’. Those tears are laughter tears and not ones due to any sustained injuries.

Love it! What a fabulous weekend it was x
It was a design fault in the implement that caused all the bother. Am glad there were no injuries! It was great to finally meet you – am impressed that you managed to get up at all after collapsing on the bed so dramatically…
I really enjoyed your presentation too – I was awed by your dedication and innovation
Wish I could do it all over again Liz!
You too, you realise this story will be regaled for some time
Ah what a great weekend!! I can’t believe you got back up after we put you in bed
Tara demanded it Becky.
LOL these made me laugh, especially the one where you are have collapsed on the bed! Top marks for getting back up and drinking in the bar in your pj’s. Looks like a great laugh
It was a gorgeous night. I have a large bruise caused by one of the mummy bloggers hitting me on the arm with a rubber implement – it’s proving quite hard to explain away!
I like the strawberry and coconut daquiri, hope u have many good weekends..
