How to Make Money with a Credit Card

19 June 2011 One Comment

If you know me at all, you know one of my hobbies is making money! I’m not a greedy person and I’m not particularly materialistic. It’s a challenge thing, a bit like when you try and beat your own score at scrabble or something. You do that too, right? :)

I was intrigued by the idea that you could make money from a credit card, although you need to be *really* on the ball to make it work.

Watch this video to see how…

Here’s what Capital One say;

Getting something back

When you pay with a cash-back or rewards credit card, you get a little something back ? however big or small your purchase is. With a cash-back credit card, you issuer gives you a little back for every purchase you make, so with the right card, you could receive hundreds of pounds a year. To be clever with a cash-back card, you need to follow these two rules:

* Avoid withdrawing cash (when doing so you?ll always be charged a fee and interest)

* To avoid any interest charges outweighing any cash-back or rewards that you earn, always re-pay the full balance each month. The best way to ensure this is by setting up a monthly direct debit
