This would certainly save a lot of money and put the surgeons out of business but can you really think yourself beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be nice if just by thinking this you would look and fell more beautiful. Well here are some tips to help you.
1. Smile! Yes by simply smiling when you enter a room, it will attract the attention of others. Emotions are infectious and everyone will want to be around those who make them feel good.
2. When you look in a mirror, …

This is the last week of the reading challenge and we got to choose one of the short vowel books to review. The one we chose was my daughter’s favourite, On The Go.
These books are different to the other character ones as they are designed more for understanding and reading the text as opposed to playing with the character as such.
These books helped to impact upon the word boxes and tricky words my daughter has to learn from school. They are still fun and have games but they seem a …

My daughter was lucky enough to be sent a copy of this new Peppa Pig Theme Park game for the DS. This is actually the first game she has played on the DS as my eldest is normally the main game player in the house (followed closely by his dad!).
As soon as it arrived my daughter wanted to play on it. So after sweet talking her brother, she sat and played on it for half an hour. The game was easy enough for her to negotiate without having to involve …

It’s that time of year isn’t it.
It starts with deciding to pull the suite out to do a ‘proper’ clean (eh, because what am I doing the rest of the time? A half arsed one? Don’t answer that) and before you know it you’re spring cleaning the house top to bottom and making several trips to;
a) the dump
b) the charity shop
c) the neighbours and family to return everything you’ve borrowed over the last 12 months.
So far I’ve ‘properly’ cleaned the livingroom. This task alone has taken me two …

Hello my name is Erica and I like to gamble.
Some of you reading will hate everything to do with gambling but for me it’s my way to relax. I rarely drink, I gave up smoking well before I had my daughter so a game of poker, a flutter on the horses, a spin of the wheel (or reels) is my way to unwind.
I think gambling is like most other vices, if it’s kept under control then it’s a great pastime. The problems arise when addictive personalities and the need …

Being a big construction toy fan my small boy was very excited when we were sent a box of Meccano?s latest kits to review, and so was my big boy (aka Dad). Small boy chose to start with the Build and Play 3 in 1 set which has an age range of 5 to 8 years. The 65 parts in this kit are chunky and flexible and the tools are just the right size for small hands.
At the ripe old age of seven and a half small boy is definitely …

It?s a good question, and you?d think, as a woman, I?d be perfectly placed to answer it. Unfortunately not. It seems that actually, most women haven?t a clue.
Some days I want to conquer the world, work in a stressful high-paid job, wear skyscraper heels and sleep my way around the world. Other days I want to stay in my pyjamas, lie on the sofa under a duvet with the curtains closed, and watch back to back Golden Girls. It can be pretty confusing. I blame the hormones.
I have similarly eclectic …

I’ve been tagged by Englishmum to answer the following questions will apparently establish whether I’m a “knob or someone you could have a pint with”. So there we are, and here goes…
Which living person do you most admire, and why?
Good grief, what’s wrong with “What’s your favourite colour?”
I admire lots of people, entrepreneurs, my great grandmother, people who give their time to charitable causes selflessly.
When were you happiest
I think I’m at my happiest now or maybe ‘contented’ might be a better way to describe it.
What was your most embarrassing …
