Snow Update

It’s still snowing.
We managed to get out yesterday just after the tractor had been and we stocked up with about two weeks worth of food. It’s snowed a lot since then and no tractors or gritter trucks have been round so we’re snowed in again. Alex tried to dig both the cars out to try and get to work but no joy.
This is a picture of the back garden.

Snowed In!

For the first time in my life I can honestly say we’re snowed in. The tractor has been to dig us out once but it started snowing again so we’re back to square one.
We were due our Tesco delivery today which has been cancelled so we have very little food but I’ve managed to borrow some potatoes from a friend so will knock something up. Not even attempting to shovel today, Alex is off so we’re staying inside in the warm.

This is the front garden, you can see …

Winding Down For Winter

Uni’s pretty much finished now, no more actual lectures to attend. Just two essays to write and submit by 6th Dec.
It’s gone really well, better than I’d hoped. The coursework has been within my comfort zone but still pushing me enough to make it interesting. I’d worried that it would be beyond me so this first term has been a real confidence builder. I’ve all but completed three modules now; marketing, intercultural organisational management and exploring entrepreneurship. My favourite was the entrepreneurship followed closely by …

What to get for a four year old girl, I’ve had tons of stuff brought to my attention this year both by companies wanting to promote their wares and also by Erin wanting to promote her hearts desires.

Letters From Santa

Soon, excited children up and down the country will be waiting anxiously by their letterboxes; eagerly awaiting their Letters from Santa, courtesy of the NSPCC.
The NSPCC has worked very closely with their representatives in the North Pole over the last few months, and Santa has decided to send personalised letters to every child on the ?Letters from Santa? list!
For a suggested donation of ?5, a letter will be personalised and placed upon Santa?s sleigh for delivery over the Christmas period to a child (or big kid!) that?s special to …

Black and White: Three Generations

This is a photo taken about three years ago. Erin must have been coming up for two. My nan is on the far side and my mum the near side. Three generations playing piano together, I love it because it looks so old-fashioned.

BaM! Become a Mumpreneur

I’ve been super busy recently. I’ve been working on a new e-course, membership site and blog which we’ve just launched.
Since creating the Mum Blogger e-Course I’ve found a bit of a passion for doing this sort of thing. That passion progressed into starting a business earlier in the year called ACE Inspire and launching our first course, the online business success course. That course is now on it’s second run and we’ve decided to turn our attention to helping mums who’d like to create their own income …
