Fairy Clean and Care: Hands that do dishes…
We’ve been trialling the new range from Fairy who’ve got together with Olay to create a washing up liquid that’s as kind to your hands as soap.
Now I’m a sceptic when it comes to new products like this, and even more so since I started my marketing degree. I think it’s all just a ploy to get us to spend more money on what should be a basic product, and of course it is, but I’ve been a bit won over by this one.
We tried two ‘flavours’ of Fairy Clean and Care – Mandarin & Peach and Almond. The mandarin and peach was good but the almond smelled amazing, more like a luxury shower gel than a washing up liquid. I actually walked into the kitchen while my husband was doing the dishes (girl power!) and asked what the smell was!
My husband said it was more like washing his hands than washing the dishes, and I must concur the one time I’ve done the dishes (shame on me!) I must say I could really feel the difference.
The new clean and care range is about 50p more expensive than the standard, which is quite a bit but it’s on offer at Tesco at the moment. I don’t know if I’d pay for it at it’s normal price (on a bit of a budget at the moment) but I’ll definitely be stocking up while it’s on offer!
