September Update
September’s been really busy and I feel like I haven’t written much about what’s been going on so this is what’s been happening;
Uni
A few people have emailed me to ask how Uni is going which made me realise I haven’t really done an update since my picture blog. So Uni’s going great my subjects until christmas are ‘Exploring Entrepreneurship’, ‘Intercultural and Organisational Management’ and ‘Marketing’. All three involve doing a presentation as part of the assessment, which isn’t really something I’ve done before so that should be interesting. Most of my fellow students are either teenagers or in their very early twenties so I do feel a bit older but I’m trying to be as ahem, hip hop and happening as you can be when you’re a married, twenty-seven year old mother.
I also purchased the most expensive book I’ve ever bought…?38.50!!!! Arrggh.
Chicken Pox
Erin got chicken pox after two weeks being at school! Fortunately it wasn’t too bad and most of the spots were on her face. At least it’s done I guess and now that all three of us have had chicken pox I can safely throw the calamine lotion away…unless dogs can get chicken pox?
Tesco Uniform
Thank to Rosie Scribble we were nominated for some Tesco uniform and ?30 to spend on clothes online.
Race Day
We were at a Family race day at the weekend which was tons of fun. Erin got her face painted and went trampolining. We even managed to make a bit of money on an outside bet going by the name ‘Chookie Hamilton’, at 14-1 we made a tidy ?58.50 off a ?4.50 bet, yay! Erin was most enthusiastic about cheering her horses on and I’m surprised none of them won from her sheer will
Business
Finally, I’ve been busy with the launch of our latest course which is a six month online business success course. We’re open at the moment for new members and will close on Friday when we’ll begin working with a new set of clients, very exciting.
So that’s me, what have you been up to?
