?50 Back To School Giveaway!

14 September 2010 38 Comments

Back to School Comp

It’s been a while since I had a giveaway. So let’s do this!

Matalan have a great range of Back to School clothes in tons of different styles. I know we’re all back to school now and everyone’s already done their uniform shopping but if there’s one thing I’ve learned as the newbie school mum this year it’s that you can never have enough, and stockpiling is wholly recommended :)

So who wants (needs) an extra ?50 worth of schoolwear from Matalan? That’s right I have ?50 of vouchers that can be spent on childrenswear, so that includes jackets and shoes too!

To enter simply leave me a comment telling me what you’d buy if you won. For an extra entry retweet this competition. One lucky winner will be drawn at random on Friday 17th September

Good Luck!

Sounds good to me. I’d buy a winter coat too and a grey pinifore. Is that how you spell pinifore? You know what I mean!

  • Jenny said:

I would buy as much as I could – vests, trousers, jumpers and socks… Since I’ve started weaning my little one he won’t stop growing and I keep having to buy new clothes!

    RT too @gingerbread_mum

I think it’s “pinafore” Rosie but now I’m not sure myself LOL

Is this just for school kit, Erica – if so then please discount my comment… if not then YAY… this is my entry :D

Fantastic give-away! Realised today that my boy has outgrown all his jumpers (logical really, duh! moment!) so need to go buy him some new ones, this would be perfect, and might even allow a treat for mummy too!! Thank you!

What a great giveaway! A new winter coat for my eldest would be top of my list too and winter boots. They grow so fast don’t they?!

What a marvellous prize. I would buy the Snowboard Jacket for son, longline cardies for my daughter, plus any left over would be new hats and gloves as we seem to always lose these and replace each year.
    Thanks for the opportunity.

I’d buy a winter coat, some socks and more trousers – The Boy is growing like a weed and is threatening half-mast pants already!

  • Becky said:

Well son will need a new winter coat. Definitely need to replenish wintery uniform bits for both kids with layers and warm socks too!

  • wendy @savvymum4 said:

I would buy lovely thick winter coats for all of them, it gets very cold and windy on the south coast.

Thanks for the competition , good luck to all xx

Definitely go with a winter coat or some proper snow boots as last year with all that snow & living on a hill, he got very cold feet & welly boots just don’t give enough support for walking far. Any left over would go to trousers as my eldest seems to think going through the knees is the way forwards! He managed to do it the first week back this year, brand new pair as well!

  • Sara said:

As much as I could for ?50!!!
Kids are definitely in need of a new coat and some wellies though!!! :-)

  • cheryl hughes said:

Hi – I’d buy a nice winter coat in readiness for all the snow we’re bound to have! J just keeps growing so his old one is too small, with sleeves up his elbows! I think we need to stop feeding him….LOL! Or win the vouchers of course!

  • Emma Button said:

I would buy my little girl a winter coat for walking to and from school with the childminder and a hat, scarf and gloves.

    Hi there

I would split the ?50 between my two and just stock up on wintry wear especially hats, scarves, gloves and ear muffs!! With Matalan’s fabulous value, whatever is left over, because there will be money left over, I’ll buy other bits for them like socks and underwear!!

Love the competition, thankyou for having it!

  • Angela said:

I would buy winter boots and tights.

  • cheryl pasquier said:

Definitely new winter coats for the kids

  • Erica Price said:

A winter coat and maybe a raincoat too.

  • Kez Lewis said:

With 4 children, 3 being of school age, ?50 possibly wouldn’t get me too far, but anythings better then nothing, right?! I’d buy as much as my ?50 would get me!!!

  • Mary Baldwin said:

As my son is growing so fast whatever I plan to buy now, he’ll probably have grown out of by the end of the month. He does however need some new trousers as we’re going to put some jam on his shoes and invite his trousers down to tea. Sorry to hear that you’re ending your newsletter, but lots of luck with the uni course.

  • Slummy Single Mummy said:

Ooh! I would love this, as we JUST had a new Matalan open in my town. Very exciting!

I would buy socks and tights. No matter how many pairs of socks I buy Belle she can never seem to find any. I think it’s because she randomly takes them off in funny places and leaves them there. Last time I cleared out the car I found about ten pairs…

  • rachael dunseath said:

  • Ann Williams-Maughan said:

My daughter could do with some new cloths for the winter so I would treat her.
