SatNav Voices
I can’t believe Nokia are suggesting I record my child’s voice so that I may receive directions from the little darling when she’s not present. Well let me tell you Nokia, I hear enough of her little voice thank-you-very-much and the last thing I need is her demanding shrieks when she’s not around, kay?
So let me see, who’s voice would I like to give me directions….hmmmm….
Richard Attenborough I could definitely listen to his directions, nobody would ever speed again!
Definitely not David Beckham with his little boy voice, and definitely nobody with an Australian accent (no offence but it really irritates me).
Prince William maybe, or that guy who does impressions..that would be funny.
Peter Kay he’d make finding your destination entertaining…or Julie Walters, I like her voice.
But my ultimate SatNav voice would be….
Elvis Presley (did I ever tell you about my talking Elvis wall clock?)
Who would you want directing you?

I've been blogging for four years and write about anything and everything that takes my fancy.
Above is me with my beloved Ernie in Port Aventura and left with our love child in Florida.

Do you know what I find amusing? Men say women are useless at directions, but usually will choose a female voice for their satnav!
I did a post today about hearing my toddler’s voice too much….certainly don’t need to hear it more either. Not sure who I would want to direct me…:0S
Stephen Fry
So true The Moiderer, maybe they don’t like the idea of another man knowing the way
David Tenant’s Doctor or Eric from True Blood.
Oooooooooo Eddie Izzard. But you can get his off his website for TomTom anyhoo.
Other than that, I second David Tennant as The Doctor. Purely for perving purposes. I’d have to have him saying “turn left, gorgeous”, “who cares where we’re going whilst you’re here with me” etc etc.
We had John Clease on our satnav – was great (plus the occaisional silly bit which was fun) – cannot imagine anything worse than recording Toddlergirl directing me… she’s already started shouting STOP … sigh
Great comment queeneileen. They’s sell plenty with flattery like that
Al Pacino for me- real shouty Al Pacino.
