Green & Blacks Chocolate

26 March 2010 4 Comments

Ages ago I was sent a huge pile of lovely Green and Black’s chocolate, I was going to wait until I’d eaten the whole lot before writing my post but I still have two whole bars left. No, I can’t believe how restrained I’ve been either!

Here’s what I thought of some of the flavours;

Dark 70% – Initial flavour is deep and bitter but by using the tasting techniques provided by Green and Blacks I actually experienced a new tangy almost fruity flavour.

White – I absolutely love the white chocolate, in my opinion it is the best white chocolate on the market. It’s thick and creamy with loads of vanilla seeds, it sorts out the sweet tooth a treat.

Butterscotch
– I found this one ok but a bit sweet for me, it was the only bar my husband really liked.

Dark with Cherries
– This one is fairly bitter but I found a square or two with a cup coffee rounded of my dinner nicely.

Almond – I love the chocolate and nut combo, and this one was nice but I still prefer my chocolate with hazelnut.

I still have creamy milk and mayan gold left, I’ll be savouring every bit :)
