My Life in 2009
January
January was probably the least eventful month of my entire year. We did make the rather big decision to try for another baby though, and I bought my beloved Samsung NC10 with poker winnings
February
I fell pregnant and we celebrated Erin’s 3rd birthday.
March
I had my first miscarriage at the end of March. It was hard, but we decided to try again…
April
A few days after the miscarriage I received an email from a PR company, something that only happened a few times a month back then, the email asked me if I’d be interested in an all expenses paid trip to Disneyworld Florida. We flew out at the end of April and had the best time.
May
On the last day of the Disney trip I found out I was pregnant again, a few days later at home and I was miscarrying again. The stress of the situation along with my crohns disease was a bit much and I quit my part-time job as a waitress.
A few weeks later…a trip to Bunchrew House was just what the doctor ordered.
June
I returned to Disneyworld, this time with my little family in tow. We had a wonderful time and I can’t thank Sarah (Disney PR) enough for her ‘surprises‘ (including vouchers to the Hollywood Brown Derby!). The night at the Marriott Manchester before our flight was also a real treat and well worth the money.
June brought its low moments too, and at the bells I shall be raising a glass for a special person now gone, and what might have been.
July
July was a quiet month as we caught our breath from all the excitement of Disneyworld and geared up for Erin starting nursery.
August
Erin started nursery and has settled in wonderfully, she’s grown both inside and out over the last six months
I went to the most hilarious wedding event ever and experienced the misery of the jobcentre.
I also took an eventful trip down south to visit my brother.
September
In September I made coleslaw and trail mix and flapjacks, rock ‘n’ roll, I know.
October
I spent a scary 48 hours in Port Aventura followed by a fiery 72 at Butlins.
I carved a puking pumpkin for halloween.
November
I finally launched the mum blogger e-course after nearly two years deliberation!
December
Everyone got sick, we had a great christmas, I lost my mojo (but I think it’s on its way back)!
Happy New Year Everyone!!

Wow you’ve had such a rollercoaster year. Here’s to a fab 2010 x

Phew, what a year! Big hugs to you, lovely lady. Here’s to a blogger meet-up in 2010 eh?
xx
Oh, I hope so
That was a huge year. Wishing you a peaceful 2010.
Ellen x
Lost your mojo or mojito? If I can be serious for a moment (for yes it is possible) meeting you and the other bloggers in PortAventura was a big plus to my year. It’s all down hill from now on then …. (kidding)
Big love to you my friend x
It certainly was Ellen.
Tara – We’ll meet again
Wow, what an eventful year it’s been for you. I hope 2010 brings you lots of happiness x
So much can happen in one year. All the best for 2010.
A late comment, catching up on my reading, but wanted to say how very sorry I am to hear of your losses. I’ve had two miscarriages myself. It is so hard. Best for 2010.
Thanks, it’s been a good year so far
