A conversation between Nana and Erin while I was away in Port Aventura.
Nana: What job does daddy do?
Erin: He drives buses [he's a bus driver]
Nana: What about me?
Erin: You look after children [she's a childminder]
Nana: …and what does Granny do?
Erin: …looks after old ladies [she's a careworker]
Nana: What does Mummy do?
Erin: She player ‘pokers’ at the dark castle [hmmm...think I need to put her straight on a few things]
Is that not accurate? Do you not do the dark look in the dark castle?
Put her straight on what exactly?
Laura and Tara do not lie. Me thinks there is a drain or two of truth in her answer!!
Tara, Laura, Rosie – I will need to make up a fictitious occupation for myself, any suggestions?
Well, I can think of several possible occupations for you. My favourite at the moment being ‘Ferret Keeper’. That is all.
I’m not sure how to take that suggestion Dos Bread, it must be rude, is it rude? It’s rude isn’t it….
