Freelance Writing and Another Bloggers Trip?

4 October 2009 One Comment

Sunday

Alex is on back shift this week which means he’s here all day and then out from about 4pm-1am, I love these shifts for a few nights (and then I get lonely), I end up catching up on tv fluff such as X Factor and worse still the thing with Jordan Price or whatever she’s calling herself now and the one named after the hotels.

I’ve managed to produce a fairly edible soup, in fact it’s rather tasty, a carroty curry concoction with coconut milk, definitely on my ‘make again’ list.

Monday

Up late last night researching how to apply for uni and what funding I’m entitled to, a nervewracking process, think I’ll start early and give myself plenty of time. Exciting emails flying around today between the Disney 7.

Tuesday

My blog seems to be fixed thanks to Dave, phew, I was starting to get really fed up with it.

Wednesday

Blog’s all better with bells on, I love my new rotating header. I made homemade ketchup today, of course Erin doesn’t like it but I guess she better get used to it as I’ve banned the glooppy stuff. I’ve been busy doing some paid writing – articles on various casino games. Very apt for me as I’ve been a gambler (don’t worry only small time for fun) since I was about 11 when I’d take my wages (I was a cleaner in my uncle’s shop) and gamble it on the tuppeny nudger :)

Thursday

After nursery I headed out with my mum for some dinner at Tony Roma’s was very lovely. I’ve also been doing a bit of freelance writing so I did a bit of ‘work’.

Friday

Friday was the first day of our long weekend, we went to soft play and then nipped into the Royal Britannia shop to pick up a ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’ poster. When I got back I received a very exciting email about a possible trip, somewhere warm :)

Saturday

We were all up early to take my mum to the airport, she’s off to Spain for a week. Erin had dancing, and then we had all the family over for dinner and to gorge on Strictly Come Dancing and X Factor.
