Fairy Non-bio Gel
We were sent a little gift set, not sure it’s a ‘gift’ if it involves cleaning but it looked really nice when it arrived. The basket was filled with a bottle of Fairy Non-bio Gel, handwash, and a cloth. I’ve been using the gel all week and I’m really impressed, it’s simple and clean to use and makes the washing smell lovely, and I guess that’s all you can really ask for from a laundry detergent.
Bedtime Stories
I settled Erin down with the Bedtime Stories DVD but truth be told she wasn’t really into it, however, I have to put that down to her age more than anythingelse as she mostly watches animated programmes at the moment.
So here’s a trailer instead;
Awards

I’ve been given a couple of awards, the first was from Nixdminx (thanks). I now have to give this to a massive ten newly discovered blogs, which I think is a ridiculous amount, so I’m going to choose three special ones;
Experimental Mum, notSupermum and Are We Nearly There Yet Mummy?

This award is from cynical Jane (who admittedly is not so cynical anymore!)
This one goes to one person and one person only Jo Beaufoix

Well, I was just about to say how I only ever use Fairy non-bio because of my daughter’s allergic reaction to every other washing powder, and also that we watched Bedtime Stories the other day and really enjoyed it….then I saw the award you have passed onto me! I’m well chuffed, thank you so much. And thanks for the message of support on my blog x
Sorry always to be the troblemaker. I’ve tried the Gel Non-Bio, but it does not work with me. It simply doesn’t clean away stains. I have to prewash most of the kids’s clothes before putting them in the washing machine. The odour is also very strong and one of my children cannot stand it! That’s only my humble opinion of couse! Congratulations for your awards. Well deserved. Ciao. A.
Hi Antonella,
It’s cleaned everything I put in, but admittedly they weren’t really stong stains, just every day grime (yum!).
I love the smell! Each to their own I guess
Thank you for my first award!
Great list of other new blogs to discover too…
I love the Ariel Gel, it’s brrrr..illant!
Bedtime stories was a winner with my 9 year old and my friend’s 10 year old. There was another movie out at Christmas which was very funny Four Christmases – lots of gross out stuff. Not sure about the Fairy Handwash, is it mild? I’m a total Fairy fan – I just love that chubby cherub on the packaging. I’m using nonbio liquitabs and I think they’re a bit strong so going back to the liquid – ooh, how domestic! I was quite a fan of that presoaker spray too….even if the ads were a pile of —- (fill in the blanks)
)
The handwash is by elave and is for ‘dry sensitive skin’ not used it yet though. Has the look of a sort of E45 about it…
Ahhhh, thanks for the award Erica, that’s really cool. Those could be my docs, hee hee. And we use Fairy Non Bio too as Misses E and M both have eczema.
As for Bedtime Stories, we really liked it, but even Miss M at 4 was a little too young to enjoy it. E loved it but she’s almost 9 so was able to keep up.
