Back to my own Magic Kingdom

Well that’s me back (even though my diary is only up to arriving) I’m tired, happy to be home, sorry to be leaving friends behind and looking forward to going to Disneyworld again in only six weeks time.
It was truly a trip of a lifetime and seems somewhat surreal now. Being home and reading retrospective tweets and blog posts is strange and a little sad, hopefully it won’t be the last time the seven meet, well eight if you count Sarah, which you really must. She was our very own Mary Poppins, you see we all pretty much digressed into silly kids from day one, to say she had her hands full was un understatement, yet she coped admirably, laughing at our silliness and biting her tongue when we got a bit rowdy.
As we suspected integrating back into ‘normal’ life will take time, I feel like a duck out of water, maybe that’s because I slept on average about four hours a night and feel like a complete zombie. I have lots of nice photos and videos to come (which I promise you are better than yesterday’s effort, I’m truly sorry) sleep first though.

Aw… lovely ears! Am also fighting tiredness – trying to stay awake and go to bed at normal time. Hear hear about Sarah – she was fabulous – the patience of a saint!! x
OH she looks so cute!! Loved the video – especially the fan angle!! Shame you weren’t doing your naked thing – little flashes of you in the mirrors here and there Lx
Yes, that would have been funny…NOT. Readers might have gone up for a bit
It sounds like you had a fab time. (Csn’t wait for my kiddlies to be a bit older so I can do some of these fab things I get invited to…)
Looking forward to reading the rest of your posts about the trip!
Aw – lovely to see you got back safe and well, have you introduced strawberry dakaris to your tea each day yet? xx
Hi Ella, I was very fortunate that family really picked up the slack to make it possible, of course only having one munchkin made things much easier!
