Disney Diary: Any Ugly Air Hostesses?

I’m disappointed to find that there is no wifi at gate 18 so I settle down to read (and people watch).

Thoughts on air staff;

  • How old-fashioned are the pilot’s uniforms? Can’t believe they still wear caps.
  • Has anyone ever seen an ugly air hostess? Do they even exist?
  • On a similar note, does anyone know of an air hostess who doesn’t have a love affair with make-up?
  • I’m flying British Airways today, I used to fly BA domestically when I was a kid and I remember the scones and finger sandwiches (yum). My ticket today says I get a snack or brunch, call me sad but I’ve been excited about this since this morning :)

    British Airways vs Budget Airliner

    Here are the main differences I noticed, you can decide if it’s worth the extra;

  • A choice of complimentary newspapers
  • A leather seat
  • Classical music and in-flight security video
  • Complimentary drink and snack
  • No finger sandwiches or scone though :( I managed a weak cup of coffee (no tia maria, grrr) and a biscuity thing which wasn’t for me. Oh, and the clientele are a bit different, mostly business people and a few yummy mummys.

      Finger sandwiches were the last thing on your mind when you were presented with a cheesy crap, I mean bap

      I’ll be wise on way back and refuse cheesey crap, mind you I might have been demoted to the hold by then and only have a leather suitcase to chew on, come to think of it that might taste better.
