Edinburgh Winter Wonderland

By Little Mummy, December 3, 2008 2:47 pm

We had a lovely day yesterday, we decorated our christmas tree, matching colours have given way to an eclectic mix of decorations since Erin came along. This is the first year she’s shown an interest in the christmas tree and was surprisingly helpful.

Afterwards we went out for some lunch and then headed for the Winter Wonderland in Edinburgh. We saw the ice skaters, had a ride on the teacups, and bought some decorations and candles. The day was rounded of with sweets for Erin, donuts and chocolate sauce for me and belgian waffle for my husband (it was his birthday too). I’m well and truly in the christmas spirit now :)

To get even more into the spirit and if you’d lke to see a load of christmas lights, head out to Dunbar.

As you come in from the A1 then into West Barns they have an amazing tree totally lit up with over 800 lights. Then, when you get into Dunbar go to the high street which has loads of lights overhead.
