Someone Stole My Toddler

Stop press! Children grow up.

Ok, so not really a shock. Until. It happens. To you.

60's Chick

Or in this case me. I’ve spent the season we call Summer, but which actually represents a mild Winter, the mother of a toddler, or so I thought…it seems someone stole my toddler and left me a little girl in her place. A little girl that pretends to apply lipstick between cbeebies programmes, struggles to keep bangles on while carrying her ‘handbag’, a little girl that goes to her first ballet lesson tomorrow. Ballet. She only just learned to walk. Damn toddler theives, there should be a law against it.

haha love it, some one stole mine too :( but on the bright side I love having this big girl who looks up to me and is learning every day something different (mine in 19 months BTW) she is going to KInderschool 3 times a week and I sometimes look at her and cant believe how big she is, got to love motherhood!
    Love Ellie xx

Thanks Ellie, good to know I’m not the only one.

Quite scary I think – my little girl has just turned seven and is very grown up about a lot of things and I sometimes have to do a double check that it is her speaking and not her brother who is three years older!

Can barely imagine Erin being seven!!

My little one is starting to become me and I am forever hearing her older sister saying to her: “You’re NOT the Mummy”!
