I feel like I’ve come to a bit of a sticking point with littlemummy.com, visitor numbers have become static and I feel like I need to push the site on a little – I need your help.

Why do you read littlemummy.com, what are your favourite articles/features? What don’t you like, what do you skip over in your rss feed, what should I drop? What new features/topics/articles would interest you?

Would you be interested in any of the following;

Video
Podcast
Guest Writer
Prize Giveaways
More Reviews (toys/books)

Please throw any ideas you have at me, I’m all ears – I need some inspiration. I’d be grateful if everyone could add something to the conversation no matter how small, the more voices and opinions the better, hopefully we’ll see a pattern and it will be clear where to go from here.

I like your personal posts as well as the interviews you have done with mumpreneurs.

  2. Little Mummy says:

Thanks Vicky, those interviews were a while back, I’d nearly forgotten about them :)

I hope you get LOTS of comments.

I’d love to hear some podcasting. I’ve also enjoyed the posts you’ve written about you journey- parenting and professionally.

Good luck- let me know if you need anything.

I still like the good old articles. For me, videos and podcasts are troublesome because I can’t skim and they take a while to download.

I think your content is great. Some are very controversial. Content is one but the other part of the equation is marketing. Getting the word out and attract people to your site is equally important.

Thanks Megin, I have been toying with the idea of podcasting, perhaps not regularly as you know how much work it takes ;) – once a month maybe… not sure what on though.

  6. Little Mummy says:

    Thanks Abel – I hadn’t realised I was so controversial :)

I love the short bite sized articles you produce. They are always written well and have wide appeal. I like the activities you do and the round up of other great ideas you find around the blogosphere.

I love podcasts as I can listen whenever I want and I download my new mix every morning. They are a lot of work but it does make you more of an expert in my opinion- well of the ones I listen to.

You produce a great mix each week that keeps me reading your email.

Have you tried pitching an idea for an interview to a parenting podcast. Let me know if I can help with that.

Have you tried the memes- tackle it tuesday or wordless wednesday? Sometimes they bring new people through.

I admire the way you put a personal angle on a bigger issue. I think you could use polls and guest posts if you wanted but the strength of this blog is its integrity and uniqueness of experience, imho. all the best.
