Erin received her third pair of new shoes, at £26 they were the most expensive yet, although thankfully I think we are into the upper price range so future pairs should cost the same (or less, if I get them in a sale). I tried to get a link but couldn’t find one, but they are chocolate leather with an aqua green flower on the front, they are called Isobel Lauren (in case you’re interested).

I’m doing the packing thing at the moment as we prepare to head off to Wales for a long weekend. We’ll be doing lots of visiting and hopefully we’ll get some nice weather to explore the Gower Peninsula with Erin.

And finally, I have been awarded this ‘nice matters’ award, which, from what I can gather is awarded for being…well…nice. So thanks Alasdair who was kind enough to give it to me.
I would like to pass the award onto Michelle of Scribbit fame, I recently bombarded her (uninvited) via google chat about various blogging related problems I had. She was extremely friendly and helpful, and was nice for the sake of being nice. Thanks Michelle!

Oh thanks so much! Nice is definitely the word to describe you.
Congrats on the award! And Michelle is an excellent choice to pass it on to, so congrats to her, too.
Thanks Michelle.
I totally agree with you Hopeful Spirit.
Oooooo! IJ has those pair of shoes, hers are purple because they did not have the colour Erin has. She got them last week on holiday, I was more excited that her, I love new shoes! I have to say that £26 is a standard price for Clarks shoes, I usually expect them to be at least that much.
The last few pairs I’ve bought have been £18, but those were the baby ones.
Erica I love the Gower. We went to Port Eynon every year when I was a child and they were the best holidays. And on rainy days we went to Swansea Leisure Centre to swim in the ‘wave’ pool and peep at the diving pool through the portholes.
Hope it’s still as untouched and beautiful as it was then.
Have a wonderful time.
I just bought my six year old some school shoes - £36, and not even a toy hidden in the heel.
Congratulations on the award. Think they might be the same as the ones Beanie has - in a different colour variation. We’ve found them to be hard-wearing - as well as pretty, which, let’s face it, is also important in a pair of shoes.
Jo - I used to LOVE the wave people, they are renovating that place, so the wave pool is no more
the outside flumes were great too!
The Gower is still beautiful, my dad has move to Pennard - really nice.
That’s shocking beta mum, no toy!!
MaL - They will be twins next time we meet up
