Hi all, mother at large emailed me last week to check I hadn’t gone AWOL, I figured I’d better explain what I’ve been up to. My firend is getting married this sunday so we headed, with another 14 women, to Leeds for the traditional hen weekend. I can’t spill too much as the general rule is that what happens on a hen weekend stays on a hen weekend, I will give you a few clues and let you make up your own story. Champagne, bunk beds, sick (not me), strawberry daquiri’s, and the dirty dancing music….
We also had people over for our first Wii party. Much fun.

The carnival of family life is at the so called me.
I don’t necessarily agree with this article to it’s full extent, however, the topic of young girls dressing a little more appropriately is definitely one that I think should be highlighted - A Return to Modesty

I have been given this thoughtful blogger award by mother at large, which is most appreciated.
I’m passing the award onto Megin, Stu, and t-bird.

Sorry, didn’t mean to cyber stalk you! I only got in touch because I know you’ve been poorly, and you usually post daily!
Sounds like quite a weekend. Hope you enjoyed yourself.
He he, just got a picture in my head of you in a balaclava creeping around the ‘virtual’ corner.
It’s nice to know someone missed me! and yes, it was a good weekend
“modest” dressing is one of my soap boxes at the moment! I had to buy Aprilia an age 10 sun siut this year (she’s 6 by the way) as the smaller sizes showed her middle off (which seemed to defeat the object to me!) Shorts for her age seem to be hotpants (but she likes to wear them as undies so they didn’t go to waste) and skirts need leggings under them to keep her decent. Finding something that maintains her dignity without making her look like a miniature granny is a challenge.
Sorry, off soap box now!
I’m not as strong as the shoulder to knee policy but I don’t like t-shirts with questionable logos, and I think the mini skirts/hot pants and knee high boots at ten is too much.
