I have been monitoring the last several carnivals of family life and I couldnt help but noticing the appalling number of comments following a Carnival post. There are only 20 comments from bloggers who have submitted to this carnival. There should be at least 60 comments/trackbacks following this post. Where are all the people who have submitted to this carnival? This is an example of poor blogging etiquette! I have also noticed a lot of bloggers dont respond to comments left on their blogs yet they seem to have the time to publish a post daily. Submitting to a carnival is just one small part in building the popularity of one's blog whereas interacting with other bloggers within your niche is crucial to its success. Sorry but I feel the need to make this comment.
