So I finally started the core maths course.

Section 1 was rounding to two, three, four and five decimal places and significant figures - straight forward enough.

Section 2 was a little more challenging, scientific notation in multiplication, I’ll tackle the division next time. This was mostly a case of refreshing my memory, I made a few mistakes so I’ll redo the questions again just to make sure (wouldn’t have been so conscientious when I was fourteen!)

On another note I have decided to wait until January when I officially apply for my access course to see if Erin can go to the college nursery - this would be the ideal scenario, if that doesn’t work then it will need to be a childminder, nursery is just too expensive.
