Littlemummy News Roundup: Top 5 Special
You are probably aware of Problogger’s Top 5 Group Writing Project. I will be sifting through the entries each day to highlight those I think you will enjoy, and hopefully find myself some new RSS food in the process.
The Top 5 Ways to Become a Millionaire
Sound financial advice but I think there is a number six. Don’t have kids! (joke, joke)
Determine If You Are a Misfit with 5 Proven Factors
This is just for fun, but I was actually quite proud to be confirmed as a misfit!!
My Top 5 Not-So Boring Hobbies

Top 5 Reasons Why Freelancing is a Bad Idea

Five Political Issues That Must Be Solved Now
In the UK my five would be –
1. The Benefits System – Too many spongers sucking the workers dry.
2. Education and the NHS – We need to find ways to make them great again. They are outdated and inefficient.
3. Politics Itself – I believe we need a system of proportional representation and more openness amongst politicians and their policies. We need to make politics more accessible.
4. Immigration – We need to figure out how to best manage this, I think capping numbers is definitely the way forward.
5. Local Council – Council tax is astronomical and I for one certainly don’t feel like I’m getting value for money. Again it’s a problem of ineffieciency and lack of accountability.
5 Gifts for Mom That Won’t Ever Go Out of Fashion
Heart-warming list, it’s not all about cards and flowers!

I've been blogging for four years and write about anything and everything that takes my fancy.
Above is me with my beloved Ernie in Port Aventura and left with our love child in Florida.

Hi! I’m going to check out all those links too, and probably start my own list of interesting posts. But the one I did read was the freelancing one you mentioned. I even posted a comment on his blog. He scared me! I wasn’t being honest with myself, to some extent. I’m lazy (like Yaro says he is). I hate working for other people, but I hate working hard too. I’m starting to look for at least a part-time job (where I can sit around when there’s nothing to do and still get paid).
I just submitted my post. Of course it’s about working at home with a toddler. That’s all I could think of. Haven’t slept in 24 hours almost. :0
Why haven’t you slept – have you been working all that time?
Thanks for the mention on my post. This is the first group writing project I have participated in but I find it quite helpful in finding new blogs.
Good lists. Thanks for these. Gifts for Mom has made me rethink how I behave with my mother. One about perils of freelancing put fear in my heart.
