15 Month Old Vocabulary

5 May 2007 4 Comments

Erin’s current daily vocabulary;

“Hiya” (not hello)

“Oh, dear”

“Oh, no”

“Oh, yeah”

“Pretty girl/shoes”

“Two” (never one, or three)

“Good Girl”

“ah, ah, ah” or “bah” (when someone, usually me, is being naughty, or telling her off)

“Garden” (to play round and round the garden)

“aargh, baby”

“goggle, goggle, goggle” (I have no idea, either?!)

“Ta” (at least she has manners)

“dog, dog”

“mum”

“dad”

“dad-dad” (Grandad)

What’s more funny, than the words is the expressions!!

It’s fun that I’ve been reading long enough to see Erin growing. And I know this is funny but to hear a child talking in an accent is about the cutest thing.

Wow, that’s a lot of words!!

My 15 month old is still barely speaking. :( We’re trying to bring him up to speak Chinese and English though, so perhaps that’s why. We’re from the UK but in China right now where he mainly hears Chinese which must be confusing for him.

He does try to copy words if we say them enough though. :)
