Ceramic Centre: Hand Print Coasters

8 February 2007 5 Comments

We redeemed a christmas voucher of Erin’s for the ceramic centre last week. We’ve been so busy partying that I haven’t got around to posting the pics.

So here you are, what do you think?

Hand Print Coasters

The ceramic centre was fun and it was great to get the cute hand print coasters, but I can’t wait to take Erin back when she’s older and able to fully enjoy it. The way time is flying that won’t be far away!

We have something similar, Paint it Pottery. I never thought to do the handprint thing. What a great idea! Thank you for sharing this with the Carnival of Family Life.

    Very cute and special!

When I was in first grade, our teacher had us make a ceramic hand print in the shape of an apple.

On the back she posted a poem:

Here is my hand so tiny and small
For you to post upon the wall
For you to see as years go by
How we do grow, my hand and I

My mother had that ceramic hanging in her bedroom until I was grown and finally made her take it down! Now I have it tucked away with the hand print crafts my kids made.

Hope you will stop by the Carnival of Family Life later today and check out the wonderful submissions!
