8 Months Old
Lots happened this month.
We went on our first family holiday and you talked to the ducks, rather you did this funny coughing thing at the ducks, which you think is talking. All the family now ‘talk’ in this funny coughing way, and I am considering a packet of strepsils to be a useful addition to the christmas stockings this year.
You can say mumum and dada. You ask for Daddy when he is at work, then you act all shy when he comes home. Mumum usually comes out when you are tired and you want something. You got a fright the day before yesterday when the delivery men from Tesco arrived. You got really scared and I think you thought they had come to take me away….you cried…real tears …and gave me a big hug. I was sad that you were crying but I was glad for the hugs.
You can sit up, but you don’t want to crawl. That’s fine. It means I don’t have to Erin-proof the house yet. It looks like you are more interesting in walking anyway.
You had another trim at the hairdressers this month, I’m glad that you have mummy’s thick hair and not Daddy’s almost non-existant hair (sorry Daddy). Everyone in the hairdessers talked to you and you did the funny coughing thing back
I love you.

I've been blogging for four years and write about anything and everything that takes my fancy.
Above is me with my beloved Ernie in Port Aventura and left with our love child in Florida.

Wow, eight months! Gosh that went fast. You really know how to make a guy broody, you know that?
Ha ha – I won’t tell Valerie you said that!
She’s so cute, love the mass of dark hair!
Arrr Thanks Michelle – Alaska! – that’s gotta be cold….I thought Scotland was bad.
